To celebrate the launch of the new Forward Fold Camper, Cub decided to give away the first production model at the recent Rosehill Caravan and Camping Supershow. We had over 1600 entries to the competition and hundreds of great ideas about future improvements to the Forward Fold Camper.
On Sunday 17th April, Richard and Susan Patton from Bidwill in New South Wales, were drawn as the lucky winners from over 1600 entries. As regular attendees to the show and regular Campers they were delighted with their win and are looking forward to taking delivery of the Camper in October.
To celebrate their win Richard and Susan travelled to Cub’s Sydney showroom on Monday 18th April where they met Cub’s General Manager Shane Fagan and National Sales Manager Ross Nichols. During their visit Richard and Susan enjoyed a tour of the Cub manufacturing facility and viewed the original Forward Fold prototype.
Ross Nichols, National Sales Manager described how the couple were both delighted and surprised at their win:
“Richard and Susan are very excited to have won the new Forward Fold. They attend the Rosehill Supershow every year but have never won a prize like this before. Susan said she couldn’t believe the news when I rang to tell her that I’d drawn their card as the winners and I have to say that it took some time for me to convince them! It’s great to see such enthusiasm about the win and I have no doubt that they will enjoy many years of great holidays in their new Forward Fold Camper”.
Shane Fagan GM of Cub was also delighted to see the prize go to such worthy winners:
“It’s great to see the first production version of the Forward Fold go to winners like Richard and Susan who will be able to enjoy their future camping trips with a bit more luxury. I was also really impressed with the number of great ideas submitted for future innovations to the Camper. We’ll be talking about these in a future blog so keep reading ! ”.
