Come along to our first official event, the Great Cub Adventurer Getaway! A very special multi-location event to be held in October across New South Wales, Queensland & Victoria, you definitely won’t want to miss what is sure to be an incredible weekend.
NSW – Shoalhaven (October 18th – 20th)
In New South Wales, we will be travelling to Coolendel Camp. Located 3 hours south of Sydney and 30 minutes west from Nowra on the NSW South Coast, Coolendel Camp is a beautiful nature reserve located on the Shoalhaven River.
The 2.5 kms of stunning riverfront makes it ideal for kayaking and water sports, and the extraordinary abundance of Australian wildlife makes it the perfect place for the NSW section of the Great Cub Adventurer Getaway.
VIC – King Valley (October 18th – 20th)
In Victoria, enjoy a wonderful weekend at the Gentle Annie Caravan Park. Located in the King Valley, the Gentle Annie Caravan Park sits beautifully in a well-known food & wine region. The King Valley can be described as a little piece of Italy set amongst the hills of Northeast Victoria. The region was once used by Italian immigrants for tobacco before they were transformed into the award-winning wineries, festivals and cooking classes and is the best spot in Victoria for the VIC section of the Great Cub Adventurer Getaway.
Running from Friday the 18th of October 2024 until Sunday the 20th of October 2024 for New South Wales & Victoria, we’ll be circling the wagons in both New South Wales and Victoria for an unforgettable weekend. Each will offer a range of activities on hand, food, music, instructional workshops, competitions, giveaways, and of course an opportunity to explore some of the latest Cub hardware.
QLD – Kandanga (October 4th – 6th)
In Queensland, running from Friday the 4th of October until Sunday the 6th of October, relax at the Kandanga Country Club located about a 20-minute drive from Gympie just off the Mary Valley Highway. Kandanga is one of a string of small towns or villages running through Sunshine Coast hinterland state forests south of Gympie.
Although the hustle and bustle of yesteryear might be gone, the town boasts rich pastures and spectacular views of the Mary Valley. As you come into Kandanga from the south, there is a park that offers a taste of what is to come with an old dray, a relic of its historical past, a picnic area and a great view. This picturesque location is the go-to spot for the QLD section of the Great Cub Adventurer Getaway.
Finally, a big shout out to Brian Medancic, for organising the Victoria event, and to Stephen Mills from Cub Club for organising Queensland!
