Cub Heritage
CUB commenced in 1968 with JK Fagan and his son, Roger manufacturing 6 ft x 4 ft box trailers.
With superior manufacturing quality and competitive prices, CUB grew quickly and supplied trailers to government departments and retails sales, with the very first camper trailer prototype built in 1969. With a company ethos of “build the best camper trailers for rugged exploration and 4 x 4 adventures’ CUB soon achieved a loyal following and continues with over 20,000 campers and caravans sold.
Today, CUB continues the tradition of manufacturing lightweight, off-road campers and now luxury hybrid caravans. All CUB models are manufactured in our North Rocks, NSW company owned facility where we strive to include as many Australian sourced components as possible.
That’s why we continue to be a proud Australian manufacturer supporting Australian jobs and industry.
"From the 1950’s to 1970’s, there were around 40 manufacturers in the industry, but our family-owned business is one of the only ones around to this day.
Today, CUB is revolutionising the business with a large investment in computerised, CNC and robotic machinery.
As a result, we have reduced costs and improved quality. We are the most complete manufacturer in the industry in Australia, and I’m proud that we treat our staff as family; hence, we have staff with over 30 years of service at CUB.
I’m sure my father would be proud of the excellent reputation of the Cub brand with our leading design, quality and resale value. When I see customers purchasing their third Cub, it puts a real smile on my face."
