Why Choose Cub?
There are many good reasons to buy a Cub and here are a few of them. Don’t just take our word for it – check out what our customers have to say about us
Cub campers are manufactured in the Cub factory in NSW, Australia. The chassis are welded together using Australian Steel supplied by Blue Scope Steel. The production line then hand crafts each camper at every stage down to the handmade tent made with Wax Converters Australian-made canvas.
Cub is a proud member of the “Australian Manufactured Camper Trailer Guild”.

Cub has an ongoing policy of investment in R&D and innovation and each Cub is designed with TARE and Ball Weight as a major consideration. Each camper has also been designed to travel low to minimise wind drag and greatly assist with fuel economy.
Every Cub has been designed by our design team who have more than 30 years industry experience and have created camper trailers that maximise not only functionality but also the internal and external living space available. The Cub 2.6m Series is 30% larger* than any other rearfold campers in the world!
*based on internal and external living space.
As we design and manufacture all our camper trailers here in our factory in NSW one of the big benefits is that we are able to customise customer orders (where possible) and tailor your chosen camper to suit your adventure. Give us a call to discuss your CSV (Cub Special Vehicle) requirements with one of our Sales Team 02 8838 8600 (additional costs apply).
A first in the industry Cub created its very own proving ground where the campers are put through their paces. For your added peace-of-mind each new model is rigorously tested. Some of these tests include:
You are never alone when you own a Cub. We have a large Cub community of existing owners who are out there travelling and living the dream on the road less travelled, and they are always more than happy to offer advice and share tips on how to look after or modify your camper or even give you inspiration on where to make your next travel stop.
In 1968 retired pharmacist JK Fagan bought a small box trailer business in Sydney’s western suburbs. His son Roger then joined the business and together they created Cub’s first ever camper trailer that later developed into the iconic Cub Drifter.
Cub are proud to be celebrating 50 years in Australian Manufacturing and in the Camping and Caravanning Industry and has produced more than 20,000 camper trailers!
To this day Cub remains in the Fagan family. Roger’s son Shane, who worked his way up from being an apprentice on the factory floor is now the Managing Director.
